Credit Card/Banking Analyst

Giant Industries Inc., currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Credit Card/Banking Accountant at our Corporate office located in Scottsdale, AZ. This exciting opportunity offers a flex work schedule, onsite work-out facility, and many outstanding benefits.
JOB SUMMARY:

· Support the Retail Accounting Department with fundamental accounting tasks; specifically, preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements and other analyses as required.
· Perform all duties related to credit cards, including reconcilations, customer service, analysis and problem solving.

· Reconcile store bank statements and perform daily deposit verifications. Identify discrepancies and resolve problems.

· Perform journal entries and balance accounts, identifying accounts affected.
REQUIREMENTS


· Associate’s degree and 1-2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices in order to analyze interpret, and apply information.
· Knowledge of and skill using computer software, such as MS Word, Excel and computerized accounting systems.
· Ability to provide a high level of customer service by answering questions, providing accurate information, and responding to requests on a timely basis.
