Credit Analyst I

Zebra Technologies, an industry leader in providing innovative printing solutions, is seeking a Credit Analyst I to help support our business unit in Vernon Hills, Illinois.


Position Responsibilities:
* Maintain credit files and process all assigned credit revisions.
* Analyze customers for credit worthiness up to 75K using multiple tools including evaluating financial statements.
* Process credit applications, trade inquires and outside credit references.
* Approve lines of credit in accordance with Zebra Technologies policies and authority level.
* Ensure that all policies and procedures outlined in the Credit Manual are maintained.
* Perform and maintain all assigned Credit Department reporting.
* Responsible for assigned A/R portfolio, both collections and resolution of claims.
* Administer the timely release of orders in regard to credit within portfolio
* Review and process Letter?s of Credit to ensure accuracy and collection within portfolio if applicable.
* Assist Cash Application when requested for the purpose of identifying payments received.
* Complete special projects within the department as necessary.
* Utilize all tools available in the department for the successful management of accounts.
* Identify non-compliances of policies and procedures and educate other customer facing departments.
* Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
College Degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience:
Up to 3 years commercial credit and collections experience or equivalent customer facing role.

Skills Required:
1. Ability to work independently and capable of multi-tasking.
2. Professional written and oral communications skills.
3. Strong problem solving and research skills
4. Strong PC skills including current Microsoft Office applications.
