Credit Administrator

The Credit Administrator will answer inbound calls to Driver Collect hotline. Provide courteous, prompt and accurate responses. Redirect calls that are not related to Driver Collect situations to appropriate Revenue Management team. Process credit applications. Process requests for credit. Provide education regarding credit procedures to customer service, sales and other departments. Assist Credit Specialist as needed.



Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain responsibility for answer Driver Collect hotline. Resolves situations according to the credit policies, practices and procedures. Redirects calls that are not related to Driver Collect issues.

Provides general administrative support to the Credit Manager and credit risk team. Complete special projects as assigned.

Process daily credit applications for operating companies, utilizing several different computer applications; eRAM, mainframe applications, etc. Provide written communication back to requestor and/or external customers as required by standard procedures.

Respond to written credit inquiries from other credit grantors.

Track daily credit department volumes through Excel spreadsheets.

Scan material into eRAM or e-mail as needed.

Retrieve and distribute severe risk alerts to credit specialists.

Manage association accounts to obtain credit applications or place on cash-only.

Process and distribute bankruptcy mail daily. REQUIREMENTS


Minimum Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to verbally express ideas clearly and concisely. Ability to listen and respond to questions with complete and accurate answers to all levels of management, staff and customers. Attention to detail with ability to organize and prioritize workflow. Experience with heavy phone volume Computer literate with experience using MS Office programs (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Preferred Requirements

Experience in a commercial credit environment.

Transportation experience.

Understanding of Dun & Bradstreet credit reports.

Experience working with eRAM or RAM credit systems.
