Credit Accountant

Responsibilities: Kforce is currently representing a major retail firm with an immediate need for a Staff Accountant to work in their Credit Division on a contract basis. Qualified candidates will be responsible for supporting the monthly financial closing cycle for assigned portfolios within the Credit Division consistent with internal and external financial, regulatory, and management reporting requirements via the daily settlement of assigned portfolios. Subsequent duties include daily recording of settlement activity for assigned portfolios and related transaction validation, preparing and entering journal entries for assigned portfolios as well as preparation of accruals and maintenance of detailed schedules supporting those accruals.
