We are currently seeking a Manager to join our Tax practice in the Seattle office, delivering quality service to a variety of top-tier clients. This individual will lead and manage fixed asset studies, including take offs from blue prints and analyzing cost components of real estate structures. Analysis will be broken out in cost component elements. In this position the candidate will work with clients to secure cost data as well as through review of blue prints. The manager will work with other practices within the firm in helping to service client needs. Also, the Manger will be responsible for coaching and mentoring a team of professionals on client work and in helping each team member reach professional/personal career goals.Cost Segregation is part of the Fixed Asset Solutions offerings within our Tax Projects Delivery Group (TPDG). TPDG provides customized delivery of federal income tax, property tax and technology based projects. TPDG utilizes a national team approach to its service offerings designed to ensure consistency and quality control and is delivered in local markets by experienced and knowledgeable teams. TPDG is a growing practice within the firm and provides opportunities to interact with multiple clients and service offerings within the firm.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree and property tax credetial a minimum. Must have a masters degree in engineering OR be an Enrolled Agent OR have a CPA license OR be admitted to practice law.Professional designations such as a Professional Engineer (PE) are preferred.Essential Requirements:
5+ years experience in Federal Cost Segregation consulting
Posess intimate knowledge of the federal rules and regulations and court decisions governing tax depreciation as well as Revenue Procedures.
Bachelor's degree Civil, Architectural or Construction Engineering or Accounting and have strong organization and computer skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required.
50% travel within the West Region. Car a must.
Strong Excel and interpersonal skills.
