Cost Manager

My name is Marty Oxman with MRI/The Lawler Group. My client, a manufacturing company, located in the Fox Valley, is currently looking for an experienced Financial Cost Manager who is “hungry for more” and looking to join our organization and grow with us. The position will put you on the fast track to Controller in no time!In this key financial role you will be responsible for providing accurate financial and cost information for a specialty division of the company. You will perform forecasts, variance analysis, standard/job costing, as well as gross margin analysis. Assisting billing and other related financial analytical functions would challenge the right individual. A strong aptitude towards systems/databases is essential to your success in this position (Big ERP system exposure). Ability to demonstrate prior development of reporting procedures and operational improvements will be requested.

REQUIREMENTS
In return we seek the following:·Bachelors degree in accounting or finance·CPA or CMA preferred
·Can show a steady progression in your work history (no more than 2 employer’s within the last 5 years)
·5+ years or strong manufacturing experience with large organization, and/or combination of manufacturing and public accounting
·Strong cost accounting experience
