Cost Analyst

The primary directives of this position are to assist in providing accurate and variance information for DHT in a format that can be easily used by DHT employees to manage the business, to assist in providing inventory accounting support and guidance, and assist in implementing and adhering to processes that will ensure the inventory costs complies with all relevant governmental and company standards and regulations (GAAP, SOX, etc.)

Responsibilities / Accountabilities
•Work closely with the MFG Accounting Manager in providing and distribute system-generated reports that communicate the facilities variances and provide the information required to manage the business.
•Work closely with the MFG Accounting Manager in analyzing daily, weekly and monthly work in process (WIP.)
•Assist in developing, implementing, managing and continually measuring a process for ensuring the accuracy of inventory costs world wide.
oPerform analysis of new and existing parts to facilitate establishing accurate cost for Manufacturing and Purchasing Inventory.
oUpdate Standard Costs as required
•Assist in developing, implementing, managing and continually measuring the verification process for ensuring the accuracy of inventory at the facility.
•Assist in developing, implementing, managing inventory GL accuracy.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications / Skills
•Minimum 5 year MFG plant experience
•Strong skills and knowledge in standard costing
•Pro-active operating style requiring a high energy level and tolerance to tight deadlines
•Excellent Excel Skills
•Excellent communication and organization skills
•Bachelors degree required preferably accounting
•JDE One World experience a plus (EOE)
