Cost Accountant - Food Processing

* Develops and maintains product costs and
analyses for new products.
* Audits and maintains costs currently within
the cost system.
* Provides cost and variance forecasts.
* Maintains inventory and other balance sheet
accounts.
* Charges costs to general ledger and determines
accruals.
* Provides financial measurement and analysis for
various teams.
* Provides financial analysis for planned capital
expenditures.
* Insures accurate recording of fixed assets.
REQUIREMENTS
* BA/BS Accounting, Finance or equivalent 4-year
degree. MBA a "plus".
* 4-8 years of cost, general accounting or audit
experience. A minimum of 2 years cost accounting. "Winning" candidates will have
expertise in "standard product costing" in a
manufacturing environment
* All candidates must demonstrate a "current
forward momentum" in their careers.
* Product costing a must [costing experience can
come from college curriculum].
* Personal computer proficiency.
* Spreadsheet application a must.
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Preferred experience in food processing,
agriculture or manufacturing.

NOTE: Open relocation is a requirement. All candidates
must be U.S. citizens or otherwise presently authorized
to work full-time in the U.S. This employer does not
sponsor visas.
