Corporate Sales Officer-Bank at Work
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Acquires and retains corporate-based employee consumer accounts. Works with multiple business partners to promote the BankatWork (BAW) strategy to generate referrals for additional business.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners, including branch management, Small Business, Middle Market, Corporate & Investment Banking, and/or Global Cash Management, and/or third party vendors to generate opportunities for International Personal Banking and/or EmployeePlus Banking business.
2. Prepare and implement a direct sales and marketing plan with each corporate client, ensuring a commitment to promote the International Personal Banking and/or EmployeePlus Banking programs. Promote the programs through on-site and internal presentations, trade shows, industry conferences and/or third party alliances.
3. Provide appropriate reporting and tracking of sales activities and results to higher management; ensure reports are delivered in a timely manner.
4. Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards, policies and practices; report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events.
5. Complete other related duties as assigned. Support the Company’s Diversity programs.

Requirements:
Minimum of five years proven and progressive sales experience or equivalent, preferably in commercial or corporate banking solutions or equivalent.
Bachelors degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent experience.
Strong sales, interpersonal, organizational, communications, negotiations, lateral thinking and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal business partners as well as external clients.
Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, coupled with the ability to understand and negotiate through the HSBC internal network. HSBC Compensation
