Job Description
Client Financial Management provides global financial management and business advisory services. These Finance professionals provide their services from the opportunity phase through contract completion in the areas of GAAP compliance, internal controls, budgeting/forecasting, contract profit and loss management, and advisory services to our customer leadership teams and corporate leadership. Client Financial Management delivers these services around the globe through a network of Finance professionals via help-desk support, Shared Service operations and customer-dedicated on-site support.
Key responsibilities may include:
• Working at an Engagement Site, in a Shared Service Team, or in the Support Network Help Desk
• Working with engagement executives to set up and coordinate an engagement(s) work, financial management processes, tools, and reporting structure, including analyzing financial results for the engagement team(s), the client(s), and the appropriate internal organizations
• Supervising CFM Analyst(s) and, if applicable, other members of the engagement financial support (e.g., CFM assistants or client personnel)
• Ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, Accenture finance policies and local statutory requirements
• Executing or advising on client/program financial processes: assisting/developing financial reporting package, developing bill template and establishing/managing collection process
• Setting up or advising on engagement financial management tools
• Assisting with and/or managing expenses
• Executing or advising on billing processes
• Managing or assisting with capital assets and associated depreciation/ technology rental equipment
• Monitoring job balance and reconciling expenses and fees
• Performing or advising on engagement shutdown activities: preparing, reviewing and collecting final bill, performing final reconciliation, closing job numbers and preparing final reports
• Executing or advising on Accenture time reporting and audit process
• Performing or advising on forecast management activities (input collection, processing, reasonableness validation, interpretation and report creation)
• Performing or advising on comparison of performance data to metrics, and preparing compliance reports

REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years work experience required, with financial accounting experience including skills in reconciliation, invoice preparation, processing financial transactions, and preparing financial budgets
• Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
• Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting
• Previous financial accounting experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of business, finance, and accounting fundamentals
• Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong understanding of local statutory requirements
• Knowledge of Accenture’s financial policies, systems, and processes
• CRM skills (for Support Network assignments)
• Familiarity with the breadth of CFM services (for Support Network assignments)
• Reconciliation
• Invoice preparation
• Tracking and reporting on Accounts Receivable
• Processing financial transactions
• Preparing financial reporting packages
• Planning, forecasting and budgeting
• Preparing ad-hoc analysis and reports
