Corporate Accounting Manager - Publicly Traded Company

The corporate accounting manager will be involved in managing the processing and accounting functions for the company in the areas of capital projects, lease accounting, rent payments, property taxes and intangible assets.

This position also provides support to Operations, Development and IT to effectively manage their capital projects.

In addition, the Accounting Manager directly supervises six direct reports to include: Sr. Financial Analysts, Property Accountant, Capital Accountant, Capital Accounting Associate, Property Accounting Associate. In this capacity the manager is responsible for measuring and reviewing performance matrix key indicators and completing Capital Accounting personnel performance reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA preferred
• 5 to 7 years experience in financial analysis and accounting
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle or PeopleSoft
• Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong level of analytical and problem solving skills
• Project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
