Come be a part of our success as an Corporate Accountant in our office in Greenwood Village, CO. REQUIREMENTS
PURPOSE:
To assist the Covington Realty management group with timely and accurate financial reporting including responsibilities for reconciliation, research, compliance, and communication.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Work closely with corporate accountants on corporate allocations of employee payroll and benefits.
•Track restricted and unrestricted cash for Covington Realty.
•Assist in property acquisition entries and reserve tracking.
•Participate in executive financial reviews and field questions from executives on financials and activity.
•Assist in TIC (tenant in common) distribution calculations and tracking.
•Assist attorney and/or paralegal with TIC reporting and documentation.
•Assist with special projects and financial analysis as needed.

CERTIFICATION OR LICENSE REQUIRED:
CPA preferred by not required.
Valid driver’s license.

•Demonstrate a higher proficiency with MS Excel and proficiency with MS Word.
•Understand and perform a variety of accounting tasks.
•Assist with development and implementation of internal controls.
•A broad knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•BS or BA in Accounting
•2-3 years accounting experience
•Real estate accounting experience a plus, but not required
•Yardi experience a plus, but not required
