Controller - Senior Living/Healthcare

Controller: hands-on, department head level. Must be a team player, very organized, multi-tasking, excellent oral/written communication skills, and can work in a dynamic environment with little supervision. This position is in a Senior Living Community with Skilled Nursing Care. Will report to Executive Director and Area Accounting Director.


- Working knowledge of FL Medicare and Medicaid billing, preferably skilled nursing;
- Completion of monthly P&L package including journal entires, analysis, variance reports;
- Completion of monthly Asset/Liabilities reconciliation;
- Budgeting;
- Supervision of accounting staff;
- Manage A/R and A/P process;
- Communicate effectively with peers, staff, and family members;
- Excellent computer skills;
- General accounting duties
- Special projects
