Phillips Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. has been actively doing business in the Texas multi-family brokerage market since 1999.

Philco Property Management, Inc. and Philco Maintenance Corporation are sister companies that specialize in Multi-family Property Management. Philco Property Management, Inc. currently manages units in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and others areas in Texas and Arkansas.

The areas of responsibility for the Controller include:
Management of Accounting Staff & Processes
Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the management of direct reports in the Accounting Department. Manage functional areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, accounting technology and property and corporate financial statements.
Provide support, financial information and reports to Management
Oversee accounting functions for multiple properties including cash management, financial reporting, and payroll.
Prepare and review property financial statements, tax and cash basis financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow.
Assist Property Management with budget preparation/implementation and strategic planning
Review monthly reconciliation of property balance sheet accounts.
Convert existing accounting systems for multiple properties to AMSI, YARDI or other property management software.
On and offsite Property Accounting and software support.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Minimum fours years accounting experience in Commercial Real Estate.
Minimum three years YARDI, AMSI or other property management software experience.
Experience in micro-based accounting systems.
Public accounting experience and knowledge of YARDI system and conversion..
Senior level management knowledge and skill.
Organized and with skill in using property management accounting software, Excel, Quickbooks, Word and Outlook.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task to meet deadlines, and manage several large projects simultaneously.
Ability to effectively manage accounting staff and coordinate activities of multiple parties.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
