ARAMARK Uniform and Career Apparel provides clothing and other wear for virtually every industry - such as manufacturing, transportation, construction, hospitality, public safety and healthcare. From designing and manufacturing to cleaning and delivering, ARAMARK works with individual clients on both a local and a national level to create the perfect image, while promoting teamwork and establishing professional identity.



To plan, direct and organize the accurate and timely reporting of financial information. To manage plant accounting and the compilation and analysis of production reports and financial statements. To supervise all market center office personnel including office services, clerical functions, payroll, mail, telephone services and office supply purchases.

Essential Functions:


Plan, direct, and organize the accurate and timely reporting and forecasting of financial information. Prepare appropriate information for presentation at meetings. Research and resolve accounting problems.

Assure that all company, corporate and normal business and ethical standards are closely adhered to and correct any deviations encountered and appropriate controls are administered.

Maintain continuous focus on providing outstanding customer service (both internal and external).

Direct and supervise the office staff. Coach to improve subordinates performance. Hold employees accountable for meeting Market Center goals. Recruit, select, train, develop and motivate a qualified personnel staff.

Conduct performance evaluations on subordinate staff providing specific and detailed feedback on their sales skills and attainment of activity, territory, revenue and profit plans.

Assists in the training of others at the Market Center who need to be aware of appropriate accounting, financial and administrative matters.

Solicit appropriate expertise of Group Controller, Regional Controller and company staff to assure proper resolution to complex issues.

Interact with and support Regional and Central Office activities.

Ensure that subordinate staff turnover is less than 10% annualized.

Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulation that affect Market Center operations. Comply with Federal Regulations and Company safety policies and practices to promote safety awareness in the Market Center.

Support an environment of continuous improvement by making suggestions and implementing where possible.

Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or financial analysis.
· Minimum of three years experience in accounting and supervising.
· Considerable skills in management, human relations and communication. Demonstrated supervisory experience with multiple priorities.
· Considerable knowledge of accounting standards, practices and procedures.
· Strong skills in managing daily operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit and collection.
· Considerable skills in preparing forecasts, controlling costs and maximizing profits, and producing accurate reports.
· Previous work in a plant environment a plus.
· Knowledge of current computer systems and proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets essential.
· Strong analytical and process management skills.
