Controller - Federal Acquisition Regulation exp. required

Our client, located in Houston, is currently seeking a Controller for the management and oversight of their accounting and finance functions.

Responsibilities:

Preparing timely and accurate financial statements and related analysis reports on a monthly basis

Monitor revenue and expenses

Manage accounts payable, reconciliation, cash collections and cash management functions

Prepare audit schedules

Develop and present annual operating budgets

Perform cash management approvals functions for all wire transfer and ACH transactions

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance REQUIRED

7+ years experience in increasing responsibility in areas of general ledger and financial statement preparation

MUST HAVE A THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF THE FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR)

CPA a plus
