Classification: Full Time Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 per year Responsible for internal and external financial reporting, technical and compliance research and documentation.
Draft and review financial reports; assist in review of other financial documents as requestedResearch technical accounting issues for new and proposed management initiatives and new accounting standards; document and present company's positionPrepare for annual audit and quarterly reviewsAssist in accounting for acquisitionsEnsure compliance with policies and procedures; review and update team's Sarbanes Oxley documentation over Financial ReportingManage Internal Financial Reporting group including Accounting Supervisor and Senior AccountantsResponsible for monthly board packages and monthly financial close processOther ad hoc projects as assignedRequirements:5-8 years of "Big Four" and public industry experience, including multi-entity reporting and financial statement preparation experienceSEC experience preferredPrior management experience, in addition to excellent oral and written communications skills and attention to detailAbility to research and resolve technical accounting issues and reporting matters and effectively document and communicate those mattersQuantitative and qualitative analytical problem solving skillsStrong time management skills, including ability to manage multiple activitiesAbility to work to high levels of accuracy, while also working to strict deadlinesAbility to work effectively with varying levels of staff and managementFamiliarity with Oracle Financials and Essbase software preferredCPA and Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting requiredFounded in 1948, Robert Half Finance & Accounting pioneered financial recruitment and today is the worldwide leader in the field.
