Controller - Apparel

We are currently assisting an international apparel manufacturer in Orange County with a Controller role. They are an exciting and friendly company that offers a casual place to work.
The business responsibilities for this position will include overseeing the Corporate Accounting Department including, internal and external monthly financial statements, and annual audits and budgets. Other responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate financial statement production, billing and account statement production, disclosure development, and overseeing the Accounts Payable department.
The management responsibilities include evaluating the finance division structure, the efficiency and effectiveness of the group, as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Strong managerial skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification required
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting and managerial experience.
