The successful candidate will be versatile and well-rounded technically with the following qualifications/experience:JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises the staff including ensuring staff is adequately trained; coordinate workloads, priorities, and schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of work; and monitors and evaluates staff performance.
Serve as primary point of contact with Divisional Office for financial information, invoicing, and related financial and/or contract matters.
Ensures the management of prime contract file(s) including preparation and control of all modifications and correspondence with the Contracting Officer(s)
Prepare project estimates to complete, monitor program performance, and issue project budgets.
Analyze, generate and present monthly financial performance summaries.
Maintain and support all company internal management systems.
Generate and analyze billings, payments and contract investment to maximize ROI.
Generate monthly revenue and cost accruals.
Provide financial support to customer and vendor negotiation/discussions.
Support Government and company audits.
Advise management on significant variances to plans as well as risks and opportunities.
Support Program Manager in the development of the annual Program Budget.
Must be able to travel periodically and work independently.
Supervise and participate in the analysis, preparation, processing and distribution of time sheets, timesheet data, invoices, invoice supporting documentation
Provide financial, labor and other reports and or documents to government as requested. These reports include, but are not limited to: labor reports by category and project, budget-spend plans versus actual expenditures monthly, reports for program in process reviews, pricing estimates and proposals for task orders, cost accounting for the contract and individual task orders.hjlsi06

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required. Training/experience of 8-10 years of government finance and accounting experience; excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills; and working knowledge of required automated accounting systems, spreadsheets, and word-processing packages. Additional education may be substituted for experience. Certifications in finance and accounting preferred. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position requires travel.REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word software
Prior experience in cost analysis, cost accounting or estimating
minimum of five years progressively responsible experience in finance, contracts for a government services companyOTHER DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Experience with Costpoint and/or Jamis Accounting System
Experience with Cost Reimbursement and Fixed Price type contracts
Working knowledge of FAR
