Contract Implementation Associate/Paralegal- Asset Management Fi

Stamford based asset management firm seeks to fill this position in its Business Development Group which handles the distribution of its mutual funds, 401(K), variable investment trusts, 529s and retail separate accounts to intermediary financial firms.Position will interface with legal, compliance, operations, sales and clients.Responsibilities include:

Issue and process distribution agreements with intermediary financial institutions.

Set up forms required to enter into new broker dealer, 529 and 401(k) plan contracts to distribute the firm's investment products.

Confer with legal and compliance groups on dues diligence and contract issues.

Work with sales staff to respond to inquiries on contract status.

Conduct due diligence checks on intermediary financial firms including review of responses to standard forms and performance of on-line NASD, D&B and BADI background checks.

Assist in the preparation of reports for annual board meeting related to distribution arrangements for mutual fund products.

Weekly reporting on new and in-progress 401(k) relationships/contracts and monthly reporting to compliance group with respect to new fund products

Assist in implementation of sub-advisory of '40 Act mutual funds for clients

Assist in implementation and project management of separately managed accounts on financial intermediary platforms.Requirements:
