Anticipated Start Date: Late SeptemberHighview Financial is seeking a Consultant/Accountant for a well known expert services firm. In this role you will help the expert define, analyze and reach independent conclusions related to critical accounting or financial related issues. Qualified candidates msut be highly trained in current accounting and financial theory, and applied methodologies. The responsibilities of a Consultant/Accountant will include applying various accounting principles, tools, related theories and methodologies to projects involving complex financial analysis and appropriate modeling, development of expert testimony, and project management.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Masters, CPA or CFA preferred.
Significant industry experience in accounting with at least 2 - 3 years of audit experience, preferably among Big Four firms.
Strong computer skills, including a knowledge of word processing, database and/or spreadsheet software; ability to create models to support data analysis; ability to use internet/electronic industry research tools.
The ability to successfully organize, balance and manage the demands of two or more projects or cases simultaneously, with high standards for quality of work and adherence to deadlines.
Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills; ability to review all factors, weigh options and generate appropriate solutions; ability to recognize issues that require the attention of the case manager or expert.
The ability to analyze and interpret general business communications, periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; ability to effectively communicate written, oral or graphic information to experts, attorneys, managers, clients and professional staff.Qualified applicants please email lindsey@ and attach a word version of your resume.
