Construction Accounting Clerk

Our client in the Loop has an immediate opportunity for a Construction Accounting Clerk.

The ideal candidate must be:

Duties:
~ Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable functions (payment of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, receiving and posting cash receipts, reconciling outstanding account balances and maintaining accurate records).
~ Credit/Collections (aging review and analysis, customer courtesy calls to collect, file review for compliance and investigation of problem accounts).
~ Office Manager (management and maintenance of office equipment, ordering supplies, answering telephones, process mail and filing).
~ Project Managers’ Assistant (other miscellaneous duties for Project Managers).

~ Must be master/advanced user in Timberline, Word and Excel; all will be tested prior to hiring.

~ Must have two to four years of experience in a construction accounting setting.

~ Must have two or four year degree in a related field.
