Job Title: COMPLIANCE ACCOUNTANT

SUMMARY
Perform research, analysis, and recommendations in the course of completing various job duties, including auditing, Sarbanes–Oxley compliance, some tax work, and long range forecasting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following. Other related duties may be assigned as required.

Assist in the preparation of long range forecasts.

Assist in maintaining internal control objective matrixes and flowcharts for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations as well as testing.

Assist in maintaining accounting policies and procedures.

Assist in the preparation of annual reports and tax schedules as needed.

Perform time and billing audits of various capital projects as requested.

Initially establish and perform credit card policy audits.

Perform inventory and examination services as directed.

Research of auditing and tax issues as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA required, auditing experience a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel.
