Commercial Construction Controller

Position Title: Commercial Construction Controller

Daily Duties:
This person will be responsible for managing both long term and day-to-day accounting functions for a commercial construction company including, but not limited to: General Ledger Reconciliation AIA Billings 20 Day Preliminary Lien releases and waivers Financials REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
The perfect candidate will be self motivated, energetic, and have at least five to ten years commercial construction accounting experience. Client will not consider anyone who has primarily residential experience BS in accounting or related field Timberline software experience 5 to 10 years experience as a Controller or CFO in a Commercial Construction General Contractor Environment Candidate must be able to hit the ground running. Experience with software implementation is a plus CPA certification is preferred

Skills: Supervisory and leadership skills, Commercial Construction accounting, Good communication skills, MS Excel, Timberline, good problem solving skills, and good organizational skills.

Position Growth Potential: The right person will have the potential to grow into a CFO position as the company grows.
