Summary:Responsible for supporting the Commercial Controller as needed on all commercial aspects of the business including preparing for review detailed product costings, generating various detailed spreadsheets for analysis, and assisting as needed with various administrative and reporting requirements.Essential Functions and Duties:1. Assist Commercial Controller with detailed product costings.2. Maintain customer contracts and price books on AS400 computer system.3. Keep detailed, up-to-date and orderly customer files.4. Prepare various month-end reports.5. Prepare various month-end reconciliations.6. Assist as needed in investigating and resolving A/R delinquent balances.7. Update and report on customer contract commitments.8. Maintain customers in Mapics.9. Update and maintain inter-company transfer pricing.10. Participate in meetings to minimize aged inventories.11. Assist with annual budgets and quarterly projections.12. Incumbents will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Proficient data entry skills.
• Strong flexibility, organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, with the ability to learn other accounting systems.
• Well developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities while being tactful and mature. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with sales, customers and R&D.
• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, with ability to quickly develop good business/commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
