We have the following positions currently available: ACCOUNTING CLERK Responsible for accounting data entry functions, maintaining monthly closing information, and maintaining permanent fixed asset records and period prepaid amortization data. Assists with general ledger account reconciliations and analysis. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum 2 years of related experience required. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK Processes claim disbursements. Serves as backup trade accounts payable processing. Maintains neat and orderly files. Performs research pertaining to vendor accounts. Updates vendor profiles. Serves as a back-up receptionist. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and prior experience using a computerized accounts payable system is required. Working knowledge of bookkeeping and experience in the operations of personal computers, using word processing and spreadsheet software is preferred. APPLICATION SPECIALIST Assists in the maintenance of system software, setup, design, and testing of program logic. Provides communication between users and the IS staff. Prepares project status reports. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field. Appropriate background in computers and experience with Microsoft software required. Work experience may be substituted for educational requirement. Strong knowledge of healthcare with experience in a managed care environment and previous experience with multiple platforms, personal computers, minicomputers, and voice communications preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an effectual ability to interact with end users and management. CHRONIC DISEASE HEALTH PARTNER Case manages an identified group of chronically ill adult patients. Primary contact with the patients will be via telephone. Direct nursing care will be provided during health fair assessments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to participating as an integral member of the multidisciplinary Chronic Care team and in the care planning process. Communication and documentation between the chronic care team, the patient and the patient's Primary Care Physician will be of utmost importance. Minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to, an active RN license with at least five years experience providing nursing care to chronically ill adults in an outpatient clinic. Experience providing evidenced based nursing care and a case management background are preferred. MS Office experience required. Prior experience using an electronic medical record is preferred. FINANCIAL ANALYST Duties include product development, predictive modeling, revenue forecasting, medical cost driver analysis, monitoring and analyzing group underwriting performance, and premium rate development. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics or Mathematical Sciences and at least 2 years of increasingly responsible Financial Analysis/Decision Support experience. MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST Responsible for maintaining appointments and organizing the flow of medical records, phone messages and patients within a physician's practice. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Preference will be given to candidates with prior medical office experience and a working knowledge of medical terminology and triaging procedures. Microsoft Windows experience helpful. SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR Receives and directs all incoming calls. May also fill in for the receptionist as needed. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). General office skills and prior switchboard operator experience is preferred. URGENT CARE RN - Part Time Assess, screen, develop and implement a plan of care as directed by the medical staff or independently within RN scope of practice. Reinforce plan of care with the patient by teaching and utilizing educational handouts to promote the understanding of the disease process. Perform and document telephone triage based on established protocols and references. Documents legibly all nursing care provided to the patient. RN licensure in the State of Florida and current CPR certification required. At least 2 years experience in direct patient care is preferred. 12-hour rotating shifts (including some holidays and weekends).
