Acts as a collector accountable for the entire accounts receivable management process to obtain maximum reimbursement for medical services. Ability to work independently using initiative to resolve outstanding account and able to identify trends and patterns in the accounts receivable. Interacts with physicians and office staff to help and maintain effective office billing protocols and to ensure appropriate communication.
Provides in-service training to physicians and/or their staff as required. Acts as a resource to other department staff and supports department management. Position starts at $15.50/hr.Application Process:

REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate or equivalent. Thorough and proficient understanding of ICD-9 and PT coding and medical terminology. Thorough understanding and ability to read EOB's. Five years experience in patient account management and IS applications' support position in healthcare environment. Knowledge of the legal aspects of collecting from patients. Proven ability to communicate effectively in a training environment.
