Collections Team Lead

Custom Staffing, Inc. is currently seeking candidates for a Collections Team Lead position on the Southside of Jacksonville.
Job Functions:
· Supervise staff of collection representatives, primarily responsible for accounts that are past due up to 60 days past due· Hold team members accountable to their established responsibilities· Monitor performance of the representatives to ensure the level of service is maintained within defined parameters· Develop proven mentoring techniques to help every team member realize their performance potential· Provide ongoing training and development of the representatives· Establish accountabilities, provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance appraisals, and create/support development plans· Deal tactfully, yet decisively, with unacceptable employee behavior and performance issues· Responsible for ensuring compliance with Company’s performance metrics related to portfolio delinquency, phone, system maintenance, contract adjustment and issue resolution· Support Origination and Service Team in workflow to meet Company’s operational initiatives· Handle all escalated calls and correspondence professionally, responding within an acceptable timeframe· Provide upper management with various monthly reports· Assist with the development of the Davox campaign strategies· Have a clear understanding of the various vendor programs, as well as, documentation requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills:
· Minimum HS graduate, college degree preferred· Equivalent work experience, including 3-5 years in financial services field (bank, mortgage, financial institution, etc.)· Proven track record of supervising collection team

Position is a Direct Hire and will pay $40-43K depending on experience.
