TTH, $14hr, Collections Specialist, Svc Company in Norcross,(30K to $35K on Perm), must have at least an Associates Degree in Business or Accounting, 1 to 2 years of Commercial Collections experience. This position will be responsible for the following: Investigate delinquent commercial accounts, written collection letters; outbound/inbound calls to customers and prepare standardized reports on collections status. May arrange terms of payment for delinquent accounts. Operate under general supervision. Initiate collection process on select overdue accounts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research client activities as needed.
Prepare reports on status of collections.
Prepare monthly collection summary reports.
Prepare collection letters. Calls/emails customers as needed.
Prepare Monthly report for finance and sales management on all past due customers.
Arrange terms of payments for delinquent accounts.
Updates SAP with collection notes to document all customer communications.
Interact with internal associates and management for account resolution.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Good knowledge of commercial credit policies and B2B collection procedures. Able to deal with company management and customers in friendly, courteous, timely and thorough manner. Good communication, written and organizational skills required. SAP experience desired. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
