Collections Business Analyst
Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital SolutionsFunction: CollectionsResponsibilities: * Work independently or partner with other teams to design, develop and implement both reoccurring and ad hoc and ongoing reports, metrics, and analytics in order to recommend improvement strategies on collection processes Perform statistical analysis on data to evaluate and isolate the critical factors influencing trends and relationships of variables to drive improved delinquency results Prepare and conduct analytical report outs for Collections, business, and Risk leadership Regular analysis of metrics and analytical tools employed to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the business Conceptualize, develop, analyze and lead delinquency reduction and process improvement projects across the Collections group Automate and streamline existing Collections metrics Identify and drive the resolution of data integrity and systems enhancements issues Support Quality and Lean initiative to deliver process improvements across Collections Department Provide project management and assist Collections Leadership and teams identify and drive strategic projects based on portfolio analytics. Develop, complete, and maintain PowerPoint presentations for management team Develop, organize, and maintain vendor repurchase process adapting where necessary to business changes and/or new programs Other special projects and duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * BS degree in Statistics, MIS, or Engineering Information Systems; BA degree in Business, Finance or equivalent education and/or experience in related area and/or industry Strong communication & presentation skills Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills Proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite Ability to analyze delinquency data, clearly summarize findings and make recommendations Influencing Skills: Ability to drive change working with business leaders Self starter, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and continually meet deadlinesDesired: * 1 Yr+ experience in financial analysis, statistical analytics, risk or collections environment Trained in Quality tools (Six Sigma/Lean) Experience with database theory and reporting tools (eg.
