Collections / Accounts Receivable Specialist

Well-established Financial Institution located in the Miami Airport area seeks a well-rounded Collections/Accounts Receivable Specialist to collect delinquent accounts.

The ideal candidate must possess 2-3 years experience in mortgage collections and be proficient in using MORNET to report loan delinquency to Fannie Mae.

REQUIREMENTS
Essential Requirements:
Complete understanding of the Fannie Mae Default Guidelines is a MUST, beginning with the initial contact with the borrower through to sending out a breach letter.
Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practice and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Familiarity with The Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act).
Experience in effectively utilizing available sources to locate a delinquent borrower.
Proficient in the MORNET software system.
