Collection Specialist

Your position may require non-traditional work hours including overtime and weekend work. In support of our on-going commitment to laser vision correction excellence, it is incumbent upon associates to partner with LCA Vision / LasikPLUS in continuous self-development and demonstrate commitment to continuous business improvement throughout the term of at will employment. This position is supervised by Accounting Receivable/Treasury Supervisor.

Position Summary: Provide collection support for the Direct Pay program

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
1.Collect on delinquent patient accounts.
2.Process and send notices to delinquent patients.
3.Review of charge-off accounts.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements/Education/Experience:
•Some college coursework preferred.
•2-5 years consumer collection experience
•Minimal physical demands, as expected with office job.
•Professional office in suburban environment
•Use of computer, calculator, phone
•Highly motivated and committed individual
