General Job Description:

Establish and maintain relationships with customer account's accounts payable and other contact personnelPrioritize and pursue assigned accounts for customer service, provide invoicing, accounts receivable and cash application related problem solving and collectionsIdentify and prevent credit risk and receivable related loss to the companyEscalate collection activities as required by business circumstancesSolve and prevent customer service and operational irritantsUtilize Excel, Word, ERP and available reporting tools to organize, manage workload and portfolio in an efficient mannerCreate reports and analysis about portfolio as directed by department management


REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or similar field desired but not required, may be substituted by equivalent work related experienceFive (5) years of work experience in a financial or accounting environment, including at least three (3) years of commercial collection experience with a large number of customer accounts (over 500)Must be experienced in Excel, Word, ERP systems like JD Edwards, Lawson, Peoplesoft or similar programsMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to display a high degree of diplomacy with sensible business and relationship judgmentMust be detail oriented, organized, accurate, efficient and a good problem solverMust be an assertive self starter and quick learner with the ability to work independentlyExcellent customer service skills

Work Schedule:

Business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Overtime, weekends, and travel (0-10%) may be required.
