Claims CSR Manager (Training and Auditing)

Our continued growth and success has created the need for additional like-minded professionals to serve as Claims Customer Service Manager.

We are looking for energetic, success-oriented individuals to ensure Phone Units meet or exceed departmental service levels, quality and production goals. Handle escalated issues from Supervisors. Project planning with Supervisory Team, Quality / Auditing Department and Director for implementation of compliance/regulatory issues and new products. Support Supervisors with staffing, schedule adherence and production goals.

Essential job functions include:
•Team building efforts to boost morale and productivity.
•Represent the Company in personnel record issues (unemployment, Worker’s Compensation, etc.)
•Support and assist supervisors by providing quality services through verbal communication as well as written correspondence to our customers, providers, agents, vendors and team/unit members.
•Responsible for monitoring and measuring departmental goals and productivity. Work with Training / Auditing department on new material and ensure quality goals are met.
•Assist in monitoring budget adherence.
•Monitor and disseminate new information within the department.
•Handle escalated employee issues within the department.
•Assist in establishing departmental goals.
•Keep Director informed of staffing needs and problem situations.
•Coach Supervisors.
•Assure units have proper tools to perform their job duties.
•Continually evaluate present methods and procedures for enhancements and changes in order to provide superior customer service.
•Answer questions from team/units regarding issues.
•Assist Training / Auditing team in determining departmental procedures.
•Express individual viewpoints while considering and learning from input of others.
•Properly interpret and apply company and departmental policies and procedures.
•Act professionally in all situations.

REQUIREMENTS
•Five years experience in a customer service related field.
•Continuing education of industry courses (such as LOMA/HIAA).
•Strong working knowledge of Claims, New Business, Underwriting, Customer Care and Premium Accounting procedures.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Strong knowledge of state compliance regulations.
•Ability to work independently under time restraints.
•Online system knowledge to include windows 98, Microsoft Word and Excel.
•Strong working knowledge of both CA and UGA products.
•Work closely with department members as well as internal and external customers.
•Strong attention to details.
•Ability to manage by the numbers.
