Church Account Administrator I

Perform record keeping processing for GuideStone products
Understand the record keeping system and be able to maintain the integrity and personal and financial data for employers and participants
Create and verify transactions in accordance with proceduresAnalyze and anticipate participant requests and account information relating to 403(b), 401(k), retirement laws, plan provisions and guidelines
Effectively communicate investments, legal explanations, tax laws and their implications, plan provision rules, and account details to customers internal and external
Research and audit account transactions
Test and analyze new computer applications and system fixes for Information Services
REQUIREMENTS
Prefer 4 year degree in business-related field or equivalent work experience
CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) preferred
Ability to understand and interpret multiple plan documents and retirement plan concepts
Ability to read and assimilate complex policies and procedures
Strong analytical skills and good decision making ability
Ability to learn multiple applications to create transactions, perform research and audit account transactions
Excellent verbal and written communications skills to effectively communicate with participants and all levels of employees at GuideStone
Proficient knowledge of basic PC skills, Microsoft Word and Outlook
Good organizational and planning skills
Ability to work with limited supervision
Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and handle stress efficiently
Ability to understand a daily valuation environment
Knowledge of 403(b), 401(k) retirement plans, IRAs, and personal investments preferred
Knowledge of investments and investment strategies preferred
Ability to interact in a team environment
Support and assist other areas with specific functions
Overtime may be required
