Chief Financial Offier

Our client is a leading franchiser of brick-and-mortar matchmaking services for busy professionals. While the company currently has more than 90 franchises and in excess of 50,000 clients around the globe, the CEO’s vision, and that of the private equity sponsor, is for the company to triple its size over the next 5 – 7 years, a significant portion of that growth occurring in Europe and Asia.

The Chief Financial Officer is a newly created position that will report directly to the CEO. He/she will provide the functional leadership for the corporate, operational and financial functions, including financial and operational control; cost accounting; business integration; capital formation; planning, forecasting and analysis; cash flow; treasury; audit; taxes; information systems; investments and corporate development activities. And as the CEO spends significant time traveling in furtherance of the globalization effort, the CFO will manage the day to day operations of the company.
REQUIREMENTS
A four-year degree in finance or accounting; a CPA is strongly desired. The successful candidate will have seven or more years of progressive financial management experience (including some experience in a Big 4 or regional CPA firm). Expertise in analysis, budgeting and forecasting, treasury, and leveraged accounting practices/compliance is required. Experience dealing with, or clear understanding of issues presented in business dealing with multiple currencies is preferred.
