We are currently seeking a like-minded individual to join our senior management team as the Chief Financial Officer.
The CFO reports to the CEO, and is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the executive management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. The CFO is responsible for the financial and risk management oversight of Allied Realty Company, its subsidiaries, several related partnerships, sub-s corporations and LLC’s and provides financial and accounting advice to several of the directors and shareholders of the above companies.Duties and Responsibilities:Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s financial functions and performance.Participate in the development of the corporation’s plans and programs as a strategic partner.Evaluate and advise on the software products for the companies and select, implement and manage software for the Accounting/Payroll department.
Evaluate and advise in the companies’ long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the Board and CEO in performing their responsibilities.Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.Participate in continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers.Maintain and/or establish banking and lending relationships.
Maintain effective cash management procedures; monitor cash position.
Be an advisor from the financial and insurance perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter. Review all contracts.
Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group and provide individuals with professional and personal growth.
Oversight of 401K
Risk Management: Direct responsibility for insurance evaluations and purchases. Responsible for security of data and financial assets.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Payroll/accounting officeInterviews, hires, and trains employeesPlans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problemsSupervises IT personnel
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Accounting or FinanceSignificant accounting experience in the public or private sectorMAS-90 experience desireableCPA preferable
