Explore a challenging career opportunity offered by one of the area’s health care leaders: Samaritan Healthcare, a progressive diverse health care system located in the sunny Columbia Basin of Central Washington, our pleasant rural setting offers a strong sense of community mindedness, newly remodeled public schools, a community college, a growing business district and numerous recreational activities.This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls that safeguard and ensure accountability of District assets; producing internal financial statements and other financial reports that can be relied upon by the organization; analyzing and advising or acting on all types of projects, decisions, investments, and plans; ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and relevant industry standards; providing reliable information supporting financially related decisions across the organization; communicating financial matters of importance to organizational stakeholders; and,collaborating with all Samaritan leaders on improving and maintaining the financial viability and process efficiency of their divisions and departments. The CFO is also the District’s Compliance Officer, overseeing the work of the Privacy Officer.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting. Masters degree in Business or Healthcare Administration Preferred. Seven or more years of Accounting/Finance experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Five or more years supervisory experience.
