Catering Driver

Department: Prepared FoodsJob Summary:
Deliver all catering orders in company van
Provide excellent customer service
Ensure that all orders are properly organized prior to leaving store
Maintain catering van in good working order
Coordinate supplies needed for catering deliveries
Ensure high-level of customer service and appropriate behavior in all dealings
with corporate and social catering clientele
Follow professional standards in appearance and demeanor consistent with Whole Foods Market guidelines
Work very flexible hours and handle unpredictability of daily demands of catering delivery schedule
Respond to work requests from other departments, on an as-needed basis
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, preferably in food service industry
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Excellent driving record
Demonstrated customer service aptitude
Ability to function in fast-paced environment
Highly organized, motivated and productive
Able to multi-task
Familiarity with Cambridge and Metro Boston area
Excellent communication skills
Good knowledge of Whole Foods products and programs
21 years of age
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. unassisted.
Able to work in a variety of environments (warm, cool, cold, damp)
