Cashier Clerk

Reviews, processes and deposits all incoming check mail, processes daily credit card payments and monthly cancelled checks.

Receives pre-sorted check batches from check preparation clerks. Processes and encodes all check batches on an Item Processing workstation.

Key enters batch document data based on required processing parameters. Prepares and balances daily bank deposit for all checks processed.

Transmits daily batch run information from the remittance processing workstation to a server PC. Performs batch reconciliation for out-of-balance situations or corrections prior to transmitting data to the PC.
REQUIREMENTS
High school graduation or the equivalent in related training or work experience.

One or more years of experience in check preparation processing area or data entry.

Previous experience with bank proof machines a plus.

Proficient use of 10-key calculator. Solid PC skills.

Must be able to work weekday and Saturday overtime and adapt to work schedule adjustments.

Demonstrates analytical and organizational skills.
