As a Cash Application Specialist will receive and process funds from internal and external customers, disburse funds, and records monetary transactions in business establishment or place of public accommodation by performing the following duties: * Apply checks to customers accounts accurately and timely * Forward disputes and partial payments to Credit Department * Process EFT payments * Check auto cash daily to insure proper payments are applied * Balance daily application with deposits * Provide backup to customers as requested * Provide copies of checks, remittances as requested * Notify Credit Department of duplicate and overpays * Resolve customer complaints if needed * Communicate problem payments with appropriate Credit Department **Please visit our website at www.focusga.com to view other job opportunities**
REQUIREMENTS
* 2+ years experience in Cash Applications * Solid job stability * Knowledge of Auto Cash, ACH, and EDI processes * Intermediate 10-Key and MS Office experience * Degree highly preferred
