Cargo Account Executive - Fort Worth

AmericanAirlines is looking for talented individuals to join our company and help us continue a long history of service and routes. Our Cargo Sales department is looking for such an individual to join the Cargo Sales Western Division as an Account Executive.

The Account Executive is involved in extensive freight selling in order to strengthen selling experience as well as knowledge of American and the Cargo Industry. Follows prescribed outline of events which would increase development in overall skill levels necessary for regular sales assignments. Takes on assigned account responsibility for actual sales territory coverage. Recommends pricing as the value of an account and has direct revenue responsibility by having customer sales contact and generating activity. Responds to customers requests to handle special problems and ensure a high level of service.

REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate is preferred to have previous cargo experience. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are a must. Above average written and oral communication skills.

Must be energetic, self-motivated and be able to work with little or no supervision in a team environment. Must be able to represent American Airlines in a positive manner at all times in sometimes stressful circumstances. High proficiency in Freight Sabre. College degree preferred.

TSA Regulations requires a fingerprint based criminal history records check for all employees with unescorted ramp access. The background check must be completed prior to any individual assuming this position.
