Capital Analyst

The Capital Management team is responsible for strengthening our worldwide capital approval and spending controls by implementing or modifying tools and processes that support these objectives. Capital spending continues to have a greater focus with the senior leadership and this team is tasked with providing the appropriate information to ensure we are making sound financial investments and can hold stewards of capital responsible for their spending. The capital analyst is an integral part of this team and in critical to achieving our objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Coordinate capital meetings (scheduling, preparing & assembling materials, etc)
-Assume full responsibility for capital proposal maintenance to support Sarbanes Oxley (signature collection, proposal filing, maintaining capital logs, etc.)
-Update and maintain capital proposal forms and other communications on the intranet
-Participate in the annual capital budget
-Analyze reasonableness of original assumptions used in capital proposals
-Analyze capital projects and compare to original assumptions
-Report on capital project status
-Support and analysis of other capital management projects
REQUIREMENTS
-B.S. / B.A. in Finance/Accounting (Other business degrees will be considered)
-PC proficient, including Excel and PowerPoint
-Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
-Ideal candidate will be highly organized, enjoy working with numbers, possess a professional demeanor and will have a “can do” attitude
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively
