Campus A/R Supervisor

Under general supervision this position is responsible for the effective administration of the campus or division level accounts receivable process. Responsible for activities related to effectiveness of internal and external credit and collection functions, ensuring the accurate disbursement of funds in accordance with company requirements.
Job Requirements
Must have a thorough knowledge in accounting as normally obtained through the completion of a undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business or related field to perform the functions listed above. General knowledge of general accepted accounting practices (GAAP).

Must have three to five years progressively responsible experience managing accounting policies and procedures.

Must have three to five years progressively responsible experience managing staff to effectively monitor and develop subordinates to ensure smooth operations of campus or division.

Must have one to two years experience with management of credit and collection functions to ensure department compliance with corporate objectives.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats to perform the functions listed above, using standard financial terms.

Must have a working knowledge of personal and accounting software packages to supervise the accounts receivable process, analyze internal collection activities, as well as, collect, retrieve and analyze data to prepare monthly reports as described above.
