A $50 billion institution, the Seattle Bank is one of 12 Federal Home Loan Banks located across the US.CREDIT MANAGERThis position is responsible for assessing and managing credit risk exposure to the Bank in the secured, unsecured, counterparty and investment portfolios, as well as appropriate verification of collateral pledged to the Bank.Qualified candidates will manage the Credit Risk Department operations and staff that support administration of extensions of credit (advances, standby letters of credit, customer interest rate swaps), investments, and counterparty credits. Incumbent serves as Vice-Chair of the Credit Risk Subcommittee, approves or recommends terms for individual credit facilities and collateral arrangements and implements policies and procedures that provide a framework for managing credit and collateral risk in a safe and sound manner; and are consistent with Board directives, in compliance with regulatory requirements, and promote the business objectives of the Bank.
Position manages the analysis and monitoring of credit risk and exposure in the Bank’s investment portfolio and manages the evaluation and monitoring of non-member credit counterparty credit worthiness and exposure, and compliance with Bank policies and procedures.Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required with 10 years of underwriting or credit administration experience with related experience in risk assessment and structuring related financing facilities, five years of which are at a management level.

REQUIREMENTS
