CORPORATE MANAGER, FINANCIAL REPORTING AND ANALYSIS

Basic Function / Responsibilities:
The Manager, Financial Reporting & Analysis is responsible for the financial reporting, planning and analysis function within the company and will lead the effort in ensuring financial reporting controls and practices for a $75+ million public entity.
Specifically:
a) Monthly Internal reporting – Executive summary; detail analysis by business segment, department and facility.
b) Financial analysis – Detailed cost and inventory analysis; operating expense analysis and management; trend analysis; and Board presentations
c) Budgeting & Planning – Model design, Operational and Cash flow projections and comparison to actual results
d) SEC Reporting – Preparation work for 10-Q’s, 10-K’s, et al; drafting of financial disclosures and MD&A; Technical updates and compliance with GAAP and SEC interpretations.

In addition to the above the individual will be instrumental in working with corporate accounting/finance organization in the development and application of accounting policy and the oversight of foreign entities compliance with policy. Individual will initiate and lead SOX 404 compliance, including documentation, identification of controls and risks, performing appropriate testing and monitoring ongoing compliance. Coordinate the annual audit and quarterly reviews with outside auditors, and establish excellent working relationships with field operations.

Qualifications
•5+ years of proven corporate financial experience – ideally including 2+ years in Public accounting with a national or global organization.
•CPA with strong business acumen & excellent knowledge of FASB
•Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business
•Excellent analytical skill
•Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
•Hands on management history and philosophy
•Adaptable & able to deal with change in a fast paced environment
•Focused on accountability and meeting expectations

Skills
•Strong PC skills, advanced excel spreadsheet knowledge required
•Financial software tools experience a plus (Hyperion, Crystal, FRX, et al)
•Presentation tools – Power point, word, Outlook
