Weston Outpatient Surgery Center, Ltd.Outstanding opportunity for a “take-charge” executive to join a highly successful, growing, freestanding, fully licensed, Medicare certified & JCAHO accredited, multi-specialty AMBULATORY SURGICAL CENTER located in Weston, Florida (15 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale in Broward County).
Reporting directly to the Center's Administrator, this highly visible “hands-on” position will be responsible for total management necessary to achieve all non-clinical operating, financial and marketing goals, which include:OPERATIONS: Setting and maintaining optimum staffing levels and recruitment, quality improvement, policies and procedures for the Center's Business Office (which includes medical records and patient scheduling), medical staff credentialing, information systems, accreditation and licensing, building maintenance, preparing for and attending Partnership meetings, and meetings with direct reports and other staff, as neededACCOUNTING AND FINANCE: Budgeting and financial statement preparation (including monthly closings), cash management, and preparation of needed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual statistical and financial reports
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will:
Have a CPA and/or MBA Have a successful track record of managing a multi-specialty licensed ambulatory surgery center or as the administrator / practice manager of a larger orthopedic surgical physician practice or comparable organization
Have detailed operations experience of all aspects of managing a licensed ambulatory surgery center, including a very strong understanding of business office functions of large physician practices, hospitals and/or licensed ambulatory surgery centers, to include coding, billing, and accounts receivable management
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Proven leadership and people skillsExpert knowledge of freestanding licensed ASC patient care areas, equipment, staffing, systems, finance and business services/billing, reimbursement and receivables managementCPA and/or MBA with minimum of 5 years experience as a successful administrator/chief operating officer of a licensed ASC, physician practice manager or comparable organization
Excellent people and leadership skillsExpert user of Excel, Word (or WordPerfect), Quickbooks and Advantix/HIS software
Analytical, take-charge, self-sufficient, customer focused and leadership personality
