American Products, Inc., a small but quickly growing manufacturing company is seeking both a Controller and Production / Inventory Asst. API is a metal manufacturer that provides metals to the storefront industry that just recently added a full powder coat, sheet metal and cnc facility.

Controller / Accounting ManagerDegree is required for Controller position. The Controller will handle all day to day aspects of accounting and must be used to completing tasks, including but not limited to all ar, ap, extensive job costing, inventory tracking, sales analysis, profitability reports, etc. Most month end financial reports and all of payroll are currently completed by someone else. Successful candidate will lead the accounting and production effort in terms of properly implementing bill of materials, shop tickets, work orders, purchase orders, job costing, etc. to ensure accurate inventory and costing measures and overall accounting effectiveness. Strong excel exp and degree are required. Peachtree is a definite plus. API will be purchasing new manufacturing software within the next 12-18 months. Strong manufacturing exp. is required.
Production Assistant will work directly with our production department in handling the day to day aspects of production and project management, including purchasing, writing all work tickets, bill of materials, providing quotes and estimates, project management etc. They will also work closely with the Controller to ensure policies and procedures that affect accounting are followed. The successful candidate will be versed with all the areas mentioned above. Again, strong excel exp. is required.API also has several other positions available.
Marketing / Sales Assistant Admin and Marketing Manager - Hiring TWO high energy,organized,multi-tasked team players to join our marketing team. Will participate in all aspects of marketing, sales and customer service to include but not be limited to activities such as client service, new marketing collateral creation, client follow up, information request fulfillment, database updating and whatever else it takes to make our company grow! Goldmine exp a plus. Some graphics exp. strongly preferred, & Degree a plus. Excel exp. and extremely detail oriented is required.
Production Manager Assistant - To assist with all areas of production management, including but not limited to scheduling, inventory, purchasing, customer service, etc. Very detail oriented, organized strong math skills and attention to detail required. Excel is used extensively. Degree is preferred.
Estimator - Conduct storefront material takeoffs (metal extrusions, sheet metal, doors, square foot calculations, etc) from blueprints and write quotes and orders. Follow up with customers. Strong math skills required. Autocad a plus. Excel is also used.
Customer Service / Admin Asst. - Assist in all areas of company, including answering phones, providing quotes, writing orders, etc. Strong word and excel and customer service skills are required.
Metal Shop / Warehouse Manager - Hands on for warehouse to manage all aspects of warehouse including shipping, receiving, full powder coat facility, brake metal fabrication, cnc machine, framed door fabrication, etc.
Powder Coat Applicator - Prior Exp. Required
