We have an immediate need for COLLECTIONS SPECIALISTS to join our team. *BILINGUAL* Candidates are encouraged to apply. The ability to work either of the following schdules below is MANDATORY... REGULAR Daily Schedule is 9-5:30pm, 2 nights a week of your choice 12:30-9pm, 2 Saturdays a month 9-1pm OR WEST COAST Schedule is Daily 12:30pm-9:00pm, 2 nights a week of your choice 2:30pm-11pm, and 2 Saturdays 11a-3pm. Responsibilities:Contacting, collecting on and documenting delinquent accounts in accordance with the company and federal regulations.The Collections Specialist places outgoing calls and accepts inbound calls on accounts to customers.They negotiate repayment of the debt, locate a consumer through various skip tracing methods and/or follow up on a previous payment commitment.They obtain updated demographic and financial information on each call and maintain clear and concise documentation of all attempts and/or contacts made and received.Cashland, started over 15 years ago as a check cashing company in Dayton, Ohio, now offers a range of services from nearly 200 locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Indiana. REQUIREMENTS
Prior collections experience is preferred.Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.Strong customer service oriented person who possesses sharp negotiation skills and excellent communication skills is ideal.A knowledge of FDCPA is desired.Working knowledge of the keyboard, personal computers, and Microsoft Office packages (Excel and Word) is critical.
