COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST

Woodbourne Center, a 200+ year old non-profit behavioral health and education agency, is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to work in the Finance Department. Will contact payors to request and arrange payment of overdue receivables. Will also assist cost auditors and Billing Specialist with audit requests from various agencies. Part time position, 26 to 30 hours per week, with benefits. Located in Towson with free parking and convenient access to I-695.

Please note: Only candidates with medical collections experience will be considerred. REQUIREMENTS


--HS diploma
--4 to 6 years demonstrated experience with medical collections and government agency receivables.
--Experience with Medicaid receivables and/or community mental health billing strongly preferred.

--Good oral and written communication skills.
--Functional skills with MS Office Suite software and billing software
